1. Look back to your earliest posts. What were you goals? Did you meet these goals?
my goals were to obtain an internship that would help me experience a career in a health and obtain the skills necessary to succeed in a health related jod. well i didn't get to work in a hospital but i learned a lot of things.
2. What are the most important things you’ve learned?
i learned that you can if you're doing something that is boring and hard you can have fun while you work.
3. In what ways have your grown as a student/young adult?
don't rightly know.
4. What were the highlights of your internship experience?
multi-tasking.
5. Describe a memorable moment or experience.
when i was helping my mentor we pt on music while we were working and that was fun, we also sing while we were working.
6. What challenges did you overcome?
i had to help my teacher with something and it was hard

Midpoint Reflection Questions
well for this week i have to use the following questions to guide me in creating a post reflecting on and analyzing my internship experience up to this point.
What is similar and different about the culture of the school environment versus the workplace environment?
What new skills have you learned that apply to the workplace? Which of these are transferable skills?
What kind of relationship do you have with your mentor and co-workers? How have you grown as a result of interacting with professional adults? What kinds of communication (verbal and non-verbal skills) have you gained?
What challenges at the internship have you faced that you have overcome and how did you overcome them?

Well this week i quit my internship and i have to stay in school for the rest of the year and help my teacher with some stuff.

meaning: the preoperty you rent.
phrase: the place ms jean lives his a rental property he does not own it.
2. word: lawsuit
meaning: is a civil action brought before a court in which a party
phrase: people goes to lawsuit when their is problem with someone and they need to go to court to discuss it.
3. word: Ejectment
meaning: to kick someone out of your house (same as eviction)
phrase: when you get into trouble and wont pay your rent landlord can eject you.
4. word: rent
meaning: a agreement where a payment is made for temporary use of something.
phrase: when you rent something you have to give money so you can use it for a limited of times.

meaning: a event in which people gathered to discuss

Week 5 and Beyond - Weekly Vocabulary Assignments
Post Title: Weekly Vocabulary
list of 5 vocabulary word i learn this week.1. Word / Phrase: bedside manner
Meaning: is a term describing how a doctor handles his patients.
Context: i heard that there is a doctor who can't handles his patients and hi's mean to them so he doesn't have a good bedside manner.
2. Word / Phrase: tenant
Meaning: a person that occupied or rent a house.
Context: tenant don't pay their rent so their landlord evict them.
3. Word / Phrase: Eviction
Meaning: to kick someone out of your house.
Context: i heard that when landlord are having problem with their tenants, they can evict them but with a warning.
4. Word / Phrase: innkeeper
Meaning: a person who manage a tenant.
Context: sometimes inkeeper have problem with their landlord because they don't want to pay the rent.
5. Word / Phrase: landlord
Meaning: the owner of a house, apartment ect...
Context:landlord makes lots of money.

Week Four: You're a third of the way there
For my blog assignment this week, i will describe my internship site by answering the following questions...
PART 1-What is it?- it's a job
What kind of business is it and what kind of work do the professionals do there?-it's a business where they deal with tax and they sale houses.
Where is it? flatbush Ave
What is the neighborhood like compared to where our school is? the neighborhood is full of people and cars and traffic. i hate is almost.
Tell a little about your mentor. my mentor is nice, she's haitian, she doesn't get mad easily. she is a good worker. What kinds of things have you done so far? so far i've done lots if things such as labels, printing labels, typing stuff on the computer such as apartments that are available. What were some of the highlights of the fourth week? (Memorable moments, cool things, incredibly difficult things...) there were no highlights of the four week.
PART 2-Please answer some logistical questions...When do you leave school? i leave school around 11:50 am. How long does it take you to get to your internship? it take about 45 min to get to my internship. When do you arrive at home? it depend, sometimes if i arrive late i arrive home late, and if i arrive early then i get to leave early. and i got home around 4:05. What is your schedule? (What days do you work and for how long each day?) i work four days i week, i don't work on fridays. i work 3 hours a day and 12 hours a week. Who are the two people that can sign your time card? (Your mentor and the additional person) my mentor sign my card when she's in the office and when she's not at the office, her boss sign my card for her.
Part 3-This is a supplemental assignment for your fourth week.How was the fourth week different than the third week? the fourth and the third week weren't any different, they were both boring and i was doing the same old things. What is something that you really like about the internship? i don't know what i like about the internship, if i have to thing of something i would say that it take about 30 min to go home when taking the bus, and that's not much. What is something you dislike about the internship? i dislike almost everything about my internship. Who else's blog have your read and commented on? i've seen everybody's blog i haven't commented on any of them.

this week my task is to finish the filing and labels i was doing on friday and start another. i'm working by me self.
well i'm done with the filing now i have to type apartment that are available on the computer. i have a lots of papers of aparment that are available, i'm not done yet. still no one helped me i did everything by me self.
the folowing day..................
i'm done with everything and i'm tired.

first week of internship
Hi there!
my first week in my internship job was boring all i did was filing, putting file in order from a to z i mean is this boring or what if I'm going to do this the whole year might as well quit now.
my mentor is nice her name is Ms Maybelle and she's Haitian just like me. what i like about her is that she doesn't get mad easily, i have to say i hate the job, boring. from the first week i arrived i said "hey what the heck it's just an internship, job suck it up" but same day I'll learn to assimilate with the job, i have too.
